OK, I've been blogging for a month. I've posted 12 times (including my vacation notice). I have 12 (That could be my lucky number!) subscribers, so new posts are supposed to be sent to their inbox, although I'm not so sure that's working all the time, so I should complain to
Go Daddy. It hasn't hurt and I have had some interesting (off-line) comments and/or conversations, so I'd like to try another month.
However, although I've had over 100 hits on two of my posts (thanks,
Pete), far fewer than that have commented or even voted. Commenting is really what it's about, but I understand that it does require time, thought, effort, and an element of risk in that somebody might not agree with you. Voting requires two more mouse clicks. So, let me suggest that you continue to read and if you feel the urge, comment, but more importantly, vote, so I get a feel how I'm doing and forward
My Link to others that you think should read so I can get more input.
One other thing: Those of you who know me, know that I love what I do. I love the game. I love the posturing. I'm into referring and being referred. I have fun almost every minute of every day and I really believe
passionately in what I do for
Matt Burkinshaw and
Dave Kurlan. I also realize that I am a wicked tease. I've been accused of throwing people that I like "under the bus". It's usually just to call attention to us, so that I can make a good introduction. I've had one reader vote that he disliked my article, probably because he recognized that I was blogging about him. Sometimes lessons hurt (when they happen to us) and that's why I blog. If I see someone learn a lesson, I may pass it on so that someone else might learn the lesson without experiencing the pain.
Here's a lesson: If I tease you or if I use you as an example, it's usually because I'm about to promote you. Here are some of the people that I've teased and/or promoted recently
Matt Burkinshaw,
Dave Kurlan,
Chris Mott and Mike Eagan,
Pete Caputa,
Eric Tapley,
Doug Foster,
Laura Briere,
Paul Laflamme,
Linda Cohan and
Ben Hall.
Now, comment, vote, and/or forward to a new reader...........s'il vous plait, per favore, por favor, please.
Blogging on,
Rick
